Il va de soi, mon cher Lucien l'âne, que je n'ai absolument rien à dire ou à redire à Rino Gaetano; il a parfaitement raison de décrire la réalité et les reflets du combat gigantesque de la Guerre de Cent Mille Ans auquel comme tous, il est confronté. Qu'il y ait des dégâts « collatéraux » dans une guerre est une chose inévitable; dès lors, ces « dégâts collatéraux » (ici, deux voitures brûlées) renvoient à la Guerre de Cent Mille Ans elle-même et donc, aux effets et aux origines de cette Guerre. Lesquels effets relèvent de ceux qui en sont les seuls responsables et je rappelle que la Guerre de Cent Mille Ans existe du seul fait que les riches la font aux pauvres en vue de les exploiter, d'en tirer profit, de les dominer... innanzitutto volevo segnalare che c'è una famosissima versione in italiano di "Pistol packin mama" cantata di Nino Taranto e Dolores Palumbo.
Per quanto riguarda le varie traduzioni non voglio mettere altra "carne a cuocere" come si dice a Napoli. Mi informerò meglio e ne riparleremo

Il travaillait en noir et la station n'était pas aux normes. Il a été électrocuté par ces câbles avec lesquels il avait passé toute sa vie de travail...

“It is often said that the English version of Geordie is a later copy of the Scottish song about George Gordon, Earl of Huntly, who was imprisoned and threatened with death in 1554 for ‘failing to execute a commission against a Highland robber.’ The motive was obviously political and in the end a fine was exacted and he was freed.
