I came here because Google send me. I was interested in this beautiful and sad song and I want to read their lyrics. I'm a big fan of Zitarrosa, his songs and his poetry.
But I have to say I strongly disagree that this is a song "against the war", in fact, if you read the lyrics properly, this is a song of war, calling for it, even if their country don't ask for it! ("Tu no pedistes la guerra, Madre Tierra, yo lo se ...").
Also, I have to say that the explanation of the reasons, the "meaning" of the song is, I don't want to say completely innacurate, but certainly biased.
