BENGALESE / BENGALI
Versione in lingua bengalese
Bengali version
Translated by Mohit Bandopadhay (or Hemanga Biswas?)
Transferred onto Wikipedia - courtesy Souparno Adhikary
Mohit Bandhopadhay translated 'The Internationale' and 'Soviet Land' into Bengali with original score (Pradhan, S. (1985) Marxist Cultural Movement in India, Mrs. Santi Pradhan, Kolkata)
English literal translation
Arise, arise, arise proletarians,
And prisoners of starvation,
The workers have responded today,
Our liberation has been confirmed.
All ancient worn out superstitions;
Break those and arise, masses,
Get rid of your poverty and sorrows,
By fighting till death.
The final war begins comrade,
Let us unite,
The Internationale shall unite the human race.

(continua)

For line out the anti-militaristic character of the song here is another Frisian version - from Lieuwe Hornstra. It is - again - west[-lauwers ;-)] frysk and it is out of the same article from the Leeuwarder Courant. (Northern Frisian is not dead yet - neither the mainland-dialects, nor the islandic forms! Don't worry - (High-) German administrations and media are working on it.)

Saluti! (RV)

RIPUARIO / RIPUARIAN
The Ripuarian language (Ripoaresch) is a very unique minor language in the German language area spoken by the people of the Lower and parts of the Middle Rhine area. It is a part of the West Franconian dialect group. However, it is often not classified as an immediate dialect of the German language, because it descended from Middle High German and partially Middle Low German and has developed separately from the German language ever since. Most German speakers will not even understand Ripuarian, whether in written or spoken form, and in many regards the language/dialect is as different to German as German is to Dutch.

Τραγούδια του Απρίλη/ Canzoni d'Aprile (1909)
Ύμνοι/ Inni(1921)
Στο γύρισμα της ρίμας / Al ritorno dellarima (1924)

(continua)
