Infatti la versione occitana intitolata "Cançon de Barberina", o "Bèth chivalièr" la trovo prima di tutto associata ad una corale dell'Aquitania chiamata Balaguèra, nel loro disco del 2002 intitolato "La votz deus anjos: Polyphonies du Béarn & des Pyrénées Gasconnes"
