That old saying, "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel," keeps getting proven every day.
Hey ain’t that a sight there, sittin’ on your head?
Let me take a good long look at that.
It’s tilted to the right where it’s held on by a thread,
What a…super patriot hat!
It’s a bit top-heavy, makes you weave and bob;
You must be some kind of acrobat.
Just to hold it steady, what a weighty job,
What a…super patriot hat!
If we’re talkin’ showy, it sure takes the prize,
Though it seems to be a little tight,
And the way you wear it way down over your eyes,
Must be good for blockin’ out the light!

When you’re feeling flustered, and all out of joint,
And your confidence is all but gone,
You can hide the bald spot, and conceal the point;
All you gotta do is put that sucker on!
Family, flag and Jesus form the main motif,
But the pattern falls a little flat,
Maybe ‘cuz it squeezes, and your head can’t breathe,
But it’s a…super patriot hat!
It’s quite a quasifascist fashion

When classes get to clashin’, don’t expect much shade,
From your…super patriot hat.
