Four-Minute Warning era il nome del sistema di allarme attivo in Gran Bretagna tra il 1953 ed il 1992 per allertare la popolazione in caso di attacco nucleare sovietico. Quattro minuti erano infatti il tempo che avrebbe impiegato un missile nucleare partito dalla Russia per raggiungere il suolo britannico dal momento in cui fosse stato identificato.
