All my brothers been shipped to the South
Sleeping in rice fields, orders from the White House
But there is only one thing I want to know
Somebody tell me, tell me, where did peace go?
For 10 long years we been fighting the war
The poor boys been dying, tell me what for
But there is only one thing I want to know
Somebody tell me, tell me, where did peace go?
Now 50.000 men have died in vain
Leaving their families in misery and pain
But there is only one thing I want to know
Somebody tell me, tell me, where did peace go?
Oh, no, where did peace go, brothers?
Mr. Congressman, where did peace go?
Mr. Senator, tell me, where did peace go?
Mr. President, tell me, where did peace go?
Where did peace go?
