Sunlight in my eyes
A perfect souvenir
Other paintings never seemed so real
Colors from within
Reflections of those things
That somehow vanished through the years

Oh love me like you did
Hold me like a kid
Ah, just spare me
with your wearisome look
Who makes the decision
The summons and the rules
Sunlight from the dark
White columns made of chalk
Oh and hold me like you did when I was scared

Girl if I never try
Then I will forever die
Just wish me love and understandin'
Love me like you did
Hold me like a man
Changing the rules for once in a while

California dream
Never came to me

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas*
Oh I think I'm lost
Yes I'm lost
With my cross.
And I'm tryin' to resist

In my trench
Hit me first
Big black shadows through the dust
Feel the pressure, feel the crush
Something for you and I
Feel the....( struggle?) in my eye
I had something for you and I

The California dream
It never came to me
The Californian girls
They never, they never, they never

I dream of the the wide distance ( it could be 'the world distant')
I think I'm lost
Yes I'm lost
with my cross
And I'm dying there of thirst
In my trench
Hit me first
Big black shadow through the dust
Feel the ..... in my eye
On, it floats on before
I had something for you and I
I had something for you and I
I had something for you and I
I had something for you and I
I had something for you and I
