Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows my sorrow
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Glory hallelujah!
Sometimes I'm up, sometimes I'm down
Oh, yes, Lord
Sometimes I'm almost to the ground
Oh, yes, Lord
Although you see me going 'long so
Oh, yes, Lord
I have my trials here below
Oh, yes, Lord
If you get there before I do
Oh, yes, Lord
Tell all-a my friends I'm coming to Heaven!
Oh, yes, Lord
Nobody knows my sorrow
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Glory hallelujah!
Sometimes I'm up, sometimes I'm down
Oh, yes, Lord
Sometimes I'm almost to the ground
Oh, yes, Lord
Although you see me going 'long so
Oh, yes, Lord
I have my trials here below
Oh, yes, Lord
If you get there before I do
Oh, yes, Lord
Tell all-a my friends I'm coming to Heaven!
Oh, yes, Lord

NOBODY KNOWS THE TROUBLE I SEE, LORD
Nobody knows the trouble I see, Lord,
Nobody knows the trouble I see,
Nobody knows the trouble I see, Lord,
Nobody knows like Jesus.
Brothers, will you pray for me,
Brothers will you pray for me,
Brothers will you pray for me,
And help me to drive old Satan away.
Nobody knows the trouble I see, Lord…
Sisters, will you pray for me,
Sisters, will you pray for me,
Sisters, will you pray for me,
And help me to drive old Satan away.
Nobody knows the trouble I see, Lord…
Mothers, will you pray for me,
Mothers, will you pray for me,
Mothers, will you pray for me,
And help me to drive old Satan away.
Nobody knows the trouble I see, Lord…
Preachers, will you pray for me,
Preachers, will you pray for me,
Preachers, will you pray for me,
And help me to drive old Satan away.
Nobody knows the trouble I see, Lord,
Nobody knows the trouble I see,
Nobody knows the trouble I see, Lord,
Nobody knows like Jesus.
Brothers, will you pray for me,
Brothers will you pray for me,
Brothers will you pray for me,
And help me to drive old Satan away.
Nobody knows the trouble I see, Lord…
Sisters, will you pray for me,
Sisters, will you pray for me,

Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen - Mahalia Jackson 1963
NOBODY KNOWS THE TROUBLE I'VE SEEN
Nobody knows,Lord,the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows my sorrow
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Glory, Hallelujah.
Sometimes I'm standing crying
Tears running down my face
I cry to the Lord, have mercy
Help me run this all race.
Oh Lord, I have so many trials
And so many pains and woes
I'm asking for faith and comfort
Lord, help me to carry my load.
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows but Jesus
Nobody knows, oh the trouble, the trouble I've seen
I'm singing glory,glory, glory Hallelujah.
Nobody knows, oh the trouble, the trouble I've seen
Lord, nobody knows my sorrow
Nobody knows, you know the trouble
The trouble I've seen
I'm singing glory, glory, glory, Hallelujah!
Nobody knows,Lord,the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows my sorrow
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Glory, Hallelujah.
Sometimes I'm standing crying
Tears running down my face
I cry to the Lord, have mercy
Help me run this all race.
Oh Lord, I have so many trials
And so many pains and woes
I'm asking for faith and comfort
Lord, help me to carry my load.
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows but Jesus
Nobody knows, oh the trouble, the trouble I've seen
I'm singing glory,glory, glory Hallelujah.
Nobody knows, oh the trouble, the trouble I've seen
Lord, nobody knows my sorrow
Nobody knows, you know the trouble
The trouble I've seen
I'm singing glory, glory, glory, Hallelujah!

Alelouya ! Ya !

"Louis And The Good Book" - 1958
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows but Jesus
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Glory, Hallelujah.
Yeah, lots of troubles flock around these days. (Nobody knows the trouble I've seen ,nobody knows but Jesus)
Seems like everybody’s sick,sick,sick!
And I’m right in there with them, lonesome. (Nobody knows the trouble I've seen,Glory Hallelujah ).
Well,there’s one thing that’s for sure .
Ain’t no use crying, just get in there and pitch.
Sometimes you need help, that’s when you kind of look up,you know ,yes sir.
Sometimes I’m up ,sometimes I’m down. ( Don't hit me , Oh yes my Lord )
Sometimes I’m almost to the ground. ( Yes my Lord , Great God )
Although you see me going 'long so. ( Don't hit me , Oh yes ,my Lord )
Yes,I have my change here down below. ( Oh yes ,my Lord )
( Music )
Yes ,everybody‘s always singing the blues about your own troubles.
(Nobody knows the trouble I've seen ,nobody knows but Jesus)
And the thing to do is to get with the Big Boss.
That’s right , look up sometimes.
Nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen.
And I ain’t gonna bug nobody about it either. ( Glory , Hallelujah )
I know where I can get help when I need it.
Yes,so everytime,everytime.
Maybe you’d better try.

In alcune versioni il secondo verso “Nobody knows my sorrow” cambia in “Nobody knows but Jesus”.
