Atomic
Il loro nuovo album Atomic è nato originariamente come colonna sonora per Storyville: Atomic – Living in Dread and Promise, un documentario diretto da Mark Cousins per il settantesimo anniversario dei bombardamenti ad Hiroshima e Nagasaki. I quattro hanno poi ripreso i pezzi in mano e li hanno fatti diventare il seguito di Rave Tapes. Il primo singolo, U-235, è portato avanti da un’affascinante giro di tastiera e poche, semplici note di chitarra.
L'235U è l'unico isotopo esistente in natura in quantità apprezzabili che possa essere sottoposto a fissione nucleare innescata da neutroni termici; nell'uranio naturale, invece, la percentuale di questo isotopo è, in peso, circa 0,72%, mentre la maggior parte del materiale è composta dall'isotopo 238U.
