Un invito o, meglio, una preghiera rivolta agli americani ad avere finalmente il coraggio di scoprire il vero volto del loro Paese, che in duecento anni storia non ha saputo mantenere le promesse originarie, né quella della giustizia, né quella del sostentamento per tutti, né quella del riconoscimento a tutti della piena dignità e dei diritti naturali e che, anzi, ha alimentato falsi miti in cui intere generazioni sono rimaste intrappolate. L’unica speranza per l’America è farla finita con le menzogne e garantire finalmente a tutti il godimento dei principi su cui deve fondarsi una vera democrazia.
