Poi nell’album “Walk the Dog and Light the Light” del 1993, l’ultimo ad essere realizzato prima della prematura scomparsa dell’artista newyorchese.
E’ la canzone che dà il titolo ad un documentario, vincitore dell’Oscar nel 1985, girato da Maria Florio e Victoria Mudd in Arizona tra i nativi Navajo. Il film racconta come fin dal secondo dopoguerra, in un processo che dura tutt’ora, le imprese minerarie ed il governo USA hanno costretto la gente Navajo – che già nell’800 era stata deportata dal New Mexico all’Arizona – a una vita di merda, segnata da un’alta mortalità, da un’incidenza di tumori ben più alta della media e da continue riallocazioni forzate, tutto a causa della scoperta di giacimenti di uranio nel sottosuolo delle riserve a loro assegnate.
