B000000EHO.01. SCLZZZZZZZ

Oh, the candidate's a dodger, yes, a well-known dodger,
Oh, the candidate's a dodger, yes, and I'm a dodger, too.
He'll meet you and treat you and ask you for your vote,
But look out, boys, he's a-dodgin' for your note.

Oh, we're all a-dodgin'
Dodgin', dodgin', dodgin,
Oh, we're all a-dodgin' out
away through the world.

Oh, the merchant is a dodger, yes, a well-known dodger,
Oh, the merchant's a dodger, yes, and I'm a dodger, too.
He'll sell you the goods at double the price,
When you go to pay him you'll have to pay him twice.

Oh, we're all a-dodgin'
Dodgin', dodgin', dodgin,
Oh, we're all a-dodgin' out
away through the world.

Oh, the lawyer is a dodger, yes, a well-known dodger,
Oh, the lawyer's a dodger, yes, and I'm a dodger, too.
He'll plead your case like a mighty fine friend,
But look out, boys, he's easy for to bend.

Oh, we're all a-dodgin'
Dodgin', dodgin', dodgin,
Oh, we're all a-dodgin' out
away through the world.

Oh, the general is a dodger, yes, a well-known dodger,
Oh, the general's a dodger, yes, and I'm a dodger, too.
He'll march you up and he'll march you down,
But look out, boys, he'll put you underground.

Oh, we're all a-dodgin'
Dodgin', dodgin', dodgin,
Oh, we're all a-dodgin' out
away through the world.

Oh, the preacher is a dodger, yes, a well-known dodger,
Oh, the preacher's a dodger, yes, and I'm a dodger, too.
He'll preach you the gospel, tell you of your crimes,
But look out, boys, he's a-dodgin' for your dimes.

Oh, we're all a-dodgin'
Dodgin', dodgin', dodgin,
Oh, we're all a-dodgin' out
away through the world.

Oh, the doctor is a dodger, yes, a well-known dodger,
Oh, the doctor's a dodger, yes, and I'm a dodger, too.
He'll come to you and cure you and act like a friend,
But when you get the bill, hee, hee, you'll be sick again.

Oh, we're all a-dodgin'
Dodgin', dodgin', dodgin,
Oh, we're all a-dodgin' out
away through the world.

Oh, the lover is a dodger, yes, a well-known dodger,
Oh, the lover's a dodger, yes, and I'm a dodger, too.
"Freddie, I can hear those church bells chime."
"I can hear 'em, too, so I'm dodgin' down the line."

Oh, we're all a-dodgin'
Dodgin', dodgin', dodgin,
Oh, we're all a-dodgin' out
away through the world.

Oh, the singer is a dodger, yes, a well-known dodger,
Oh, the singer's a dodger, yes, and I'm a dodger, too.
Sittin' on the porch all day long,
And he just keeps singin' this same damn song.

Oh, we're all a-dodgin'
Dodgin', dodgin', dodgin,
Oh, we're all a-dodgin' out
away through the world.
