Inutile ricordare che di lì a poco, nelle elezioni della primavera del 1979 i conservatori della Thatcher avrebbero stravinto con un incremento di oltre l’8%, trascinando con sé anche i fascisti del National Front, unico partito minore ad ottenere un aumento dei consensi (+ 0.2%).
