Murray Wilde, born July 7, 1951 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is a Canadian songwriter and composer presently residing in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia.
His original works cover a variety of genres from Rock, Pop, Folk and Instrumental to Country, World, Inspirational and Parody, with topical subjects that often address social and political issues.
Since 2005 he has written and composed music in a variety of genres from Rock, Pop, Folk and Inspirational to Country, World, Instrumental and Hip Hop.
Currently a member of SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) and Songwriters Association of Canada.
2005 - Song Of The Year.com: selected as a 'Suggested Artist'.
2006 - Narrative Music Canada: 'Lyric Of The Year' award in the Cultural & Spiritual genre.
2007 - SoundClick.com: Awarded a 10 year VIP account for 'Soundclick Baby' in a 10th Anniversary song competition.
2008 - Nashville Song Service: Honourable Mention in the Lyrical competition for 'One Big Heart'.
2009 - T.E.A. Canada: 'Hot Girl' featured on Volume 13 compilation CD released February 20, 2009.
2009 - 'When The Day Is Through'- 12th Annual Unisong International Songwriting Honourable Mention UNISONG WINNERS
He enjoy collaborating with other artists and have a number of demo tunes posted as well as a couple dozen in the can.
