Thom Bishop

"Junior Burke" (aka Thom Bishop, born Thomas Burke Bishop, Jr. in Montgomery County, Illinois) is a writer and educator. He is the Chair of Naropa University’s Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics in Boulder, Colorado.
His writing has taken a number of forms: novelist, dramatist and songwriter.
Thom Bishop is maybe best known by many in the music world for his wonderful songwriting ability. He has written songs that have been recorded by many artists, including James Lee Stanley, Bob Dylan, Jim Post, Richie Havens, and Bonnie Koloc.
