Brendan Ashton is a singer-songwriter based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, who plays accordion in a folk rock band called Hunters Moon: "I was born in West Yorkshire in 1971" – Brendan says – "and am in reality a gardener, to amuse myself I play accordion in a currently none gigging band which calls itself Hunters Moon. and generally no-one tends to take much notice of them. I like folk music, but my stuff tends to develop from my limited ability on the instruments I "play" and my range as a "singer".
