Fred Darian
Fred Darian was born on June 16, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Singer, songwriter ("Mr. Custer"), author and composer who, after college, sang in night clubs and on television since 1951. Joining ASCAP in 1957, he collaborated musically with Al De Lory and Joseph Van Winkle. His other popular-song compositions include "Battle of Gettysburg" and "Johnny Willow".
