Julie Christensen is an American singer, born in Iowa and now resident of Ojai, California. A longtime backup singer with Leonard Cohen, Julie's also sung with Lou Reed and Van Dyke Parks and she co-lead Divine Horsemen. She's soulful hybrid of roots and folk. From 1983 to 1987 Christensen was a member of The Divine Horsemen with her former husband Chris D.. She is currently married to actor John Diehl.
Christensen recently participated in Hal Willner's Leonard Cohen tribute event Came So Far For Beauty and in the resulting documentary Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man.
